Taiwan Trip

So I finally find the time to update my Xanga. I'll dedicate this entry for my trip to Taiwan in Oct. It was awsome~ My sister got married, I got to check out our Taiwan office, and enjoyed a lot of good food and good shopping! it was great meeting up with some old pals from elementary school and also had a blast hanging out with Jesse. He took good care of me! haha.. okie.. so the entry goes...

My sister's engagement luncheon was the next day. I was there jet-lagged but it went well.

3. Fun stuff: Hanging out with old pals, visiting my nanny, my elementary school teacher, getting foot massage, and eating with Lana's mom and sisters (they were in Taiwan also for their grandma's birthday)

Update for September

Hey all, just got back from Taiwan for my sister's wedding, right now it is 5:29 in the morning and I can't even sleep! Bad jet lag plus bad cough from allergy!!!!!  I'll post those pics in Taiwan as soon as possible. But I have a lot to update...a lot from Sept, so I'll post the pics for Sept first....here is what happened in Sept.

My company held an event in LA Convention Center to let people understand our mission and vision. We even had an ad in USA Today about that. It was awsome!!!

Xanga Update! Haven't update that for a while.. I have been so busy traveling on business trips.. to convention and stuff. So sorrie for being MIA for a while.

1. My sister got proposed

My sister and her bf came from Taiwan and his bf actually proposed to her in front of us. Apparently for him, he planned to propose to her this trip. AWWWWW... she said yes so she will be getting married in Oct. I have to fly to Taiwan so for almost 1 month I'll be in TW.

2. Lana's Birthday

For Lana's birthday dinner this year, I took her to Yamashiro. It's located in LA and it has nice view. Food is a little overpriced but everything tastes good.

3. Orlando Convention

This year's annual convention for World Financial Group is moved to Oralando Orange County Convention Center. Associates from all over the world; Canada, US, Phillipine, Taiwan, China.

Day 1:

Got there at 6am and got some rest then we all went to Universal Studios Adventure Park in Orlando. We were debating whether or not to go to Disney World or Universal. Everyone there says Universal is funner. And they were right. All the rides were soo awsome!

Day 2:

The convention starts 2nd day. It was mostly registration,  picking up the badges and also picking up goodies from all the preferred providers. Later on at night, I also attended the marketing director managerial meeting.

Day 3:

Day 3 was workshops in the morning and the most famous Gala night at night. In the first top left hand corner of picture collage, look for this guy Gilermo Haro's 1 month cashflow (that's how much he earned in a month).

Day 4 & Day 5:

Last two days of the convention were very informative. As you see in the previous entry, Lana was chosen to perform for the WFG Idol. I spent $200 making a poster of her to hold up. She did really well in fact she was the best singer of all. Former US Lieutanant Commander General Tommy Franks were there teaching us about leadership. At night, we had our own recognition. I was able to recognize my team for their hard work.

Happy Fourth of July! Went to China Town and bought 160 dollars worth of Chinese Crackers (the ones you have to go to the back to buy it). It's gonna be so fun!

Lana got picked to sing @ this year's Orlando Convention in front of over 20,000 people associated from all over the world including WFG US, Canada, Taiwan, Phillippine, China! Gotta root for her. She will be singing Lady Marmalade~ On the website you can hear her demo for this song, it's very rough but enough to give you a taste of how she sings the song.
